3M Safety Film and 3M Security Film are thicker, usually clear films. These films are installed onto the glass and secured to the window frame with specified attachment systems. They can be used to slow forced entry for anti-intrusion, bomb blast mitigation, and windstorm protection. Coming in a variety of thicknesses, these films are very popular in M.U.S.H. (Municipalities, Universities, Schools, and Hospitals) projects as well as residential settings to allow for a longer response time & protection in a crisis situation.
3M Ultra Security
2 Thicknesses and 1 Tinted Shade
This security film stands alone in its field. It’s recommended for schools, municipal buildings, and places of worship. The micro layered construction provides a tear, peel, and puncture strength to match the standards of thicker traditional safety films. This construction allows the 3M Ultra series to be installed quicker and in a cost-effective manner

Attachment Systems
2 Systems available
Security window film alone is great for holding glass shards together in the event of breakage. Although, if the goal is to slow down an intruder, mitigate a bomb blast or protect from natural disasters, an attachment system is almost always necessary. Attachment systems bond the security film to the framework of the window or door to hold the glass unit in its frame or force the intruder to go through the film. If no attachment system is present, the integrity of the structure is hinged on the glass not breaking away at the films edge as most tempered glass systems are designed to do. We offer a wet glaze attachment system (structural adhesive) or 3M’s Impact Protection Profile system that mimics the look of a rubber gasket to ‘Attach’ the film to the framework.

Anti-Graffiti
Anti-Graffiti film is a version of security film designed to protect glass surfaces from scratches, gouges and graffiti tagging. This clear film is designed with a low-tac adhesive for easy removal and replacement, and can be applied multiple layers at a time. Coming in at a fraction of glass replacement cost, this is a great option for storefront glass, glass countertops, display cases, bathroom mirrors and public transportation windows.
